The idea
The route passes a railway station, the cathedral square, a busy street and a market. Each place has a photograph with the movement of people blurred into the image, and a stretch of the waveform below shows how loud that part of the walk was.
Small plans and QR codes along the timeline mark the points of the route, so the drawing works as a map of sound as well as of space.
